Reflejos Flamencos brings flamenco music and dance to life in Tulsa, OK. Johnny Beard and oldest daughter, Alexandra Hernandez Allen “Lexi” have been performing and teaching flamenco together for over fifteen years. In 2003, they formed Reflejos Flamencos which now includes percussionist Dylan Allen.
Flamenco is a unique blend of cultural influences with roots deeply embedded in the history of Southern Spain. Through this dynamic music Reflejos Flamencos reflects the emotion of its performers and beautifully combines sharp intensity with refined elegance. Reflejos Flamencos enjoys sharing the flamenco art form through performance, lecture demonstrations, and lessons. They are excited to take part in the promotion of Spanish culture in Tulsa.
